ZEP — Fulfiler when it comes to project management
For 7 years, IT professionals have had their sights firmly on Microsoft. The team led by founders Patrick Hösl and Michael Plettner has been working on the topic of time recording for just as long. Everyday life in project business makes it necessary to be on-site with customers or to work remotely. Billing is done on a daily or hourly basis. In order to provide customers with detailed and accurate billing, an appropriate tool was required that runs reliably. “If possible, the system we were looking for shouldn't be called Excel,” Patrick Hösl recalls. “ZEP was our biggest stroke of luck, as we can map almost everything in one tool,” enthuses Patrick Hösl. In addition to time recording, the company from Oberhaching writes offers and invoices with ZEP and can generate corresponding projects directly from them — including a monthly travel expense report. “ZEP is the tool we prefer to spend money on,” says Hösl. With ZEP, the processes can be mapped as they are required. Self-made replicas or workarounds are a thing of the past for IT service providers.
The tool is not only used by our own employees, but also by external parties. So that they too can invoice their activities accordingly — including additional catering expenses, break arrangements, etc. — they receive an internal briefing in ZEP. “This usually works very well, despite the large scope of ZEP,” says Hösl. And thanks to the flexible way of working and changing locations, the ZEP app is also used by employees and is seen as a helpful tool for time recording. “Without ZEP, our company would not function!
